Four-way Stretch usually adopts the method of adding spandex elastic yarn to the fabricto make the fabric elastic. First, the yarn and spandex covered yarn are plyand twisted to make elastic yarn, and the twist must be controlled separately. The feeding length is to control the size of the yarn elasticity. Yarn andfabric elongation is controlled during manufacturing and finishing to controlthe elasticity of the finished product.

The four-way elastic cloth is the warp and weft bidirectional elastic cloth. The general elastic elongation rate is 10%-15%, and the amount of spandex in thefabric is about 3%.

The advantages of four-way stretch fabric:

1. Highstrength. The strength of short fiber is 2.6-5.7cN/dtex, and the strength ofhigh-strength fiber is 5.6-8.0cN/dtex. The wet strength is basically the sameas the dry strength. The impact strength is 4 times higher than that of nylonand 20 times higher than that of viscose fiber.

2. Goodelasticity. The elasticity is similar to that of wool, and it can fully recover when it is stretched by 5% to 6%. The wrinkle resistance is far superior toother types of fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle and has good dimensional stability. The modulus of elasticity is 2 to 3 times higher than that of nylon. Good elasticity, very suitable for women's clothing. The popularelastic women's leggings in recent years can also be used for shoes and hats, home textiles, toys, handicrafts, etc.

3. Goodheat resistance, high temperature will not deform. Good light fastness. Lightfastness is second only to acrylic. The surface is lubricated, theinternal molecules are closely placed, and the molecules lack hydrophilicstructures, so the moisture regain is very small and the moisture absorptionfunction is poor.

4.Corrosion resistance. Resistant to bleaches, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum commodities and inorganic acids. Dilute alkali resistance, not afraidof mildew, but hot alkali can make it differentiate.

5. Goodwear resistance. Abrasion resistance is second only to the best abrasionresistance nylon, better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers

Shortcoming

Thecolor fastness of four-way elastic fabrics is generally not high, especially black is easy to fade. The color of the fabric is easy to be inaccurate, andthe color difference problem will often occur. Secondly, the elasticity andgram weight of the four-sided elastic hair are more difficult to control.
